Quick Red Velvet Cake

Source: From Pillsbury cake mix package
Prep. time: 20 min. (Ready in 1 hr. 35 min.). High altitude (above 3500 feet) Add 1/4 cup flour to dry cake mix and bake as directed.
Cake:

1 | cup | sour cream |
1/2 | cup | water |
1/4 | cup | oil, vegetable or canola |
1 | (1 oz.) bottle | red food color |
3 | | eggs |

2 | cans | Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Vanilla Frosting |
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 9" round or heart shaped cake pans.
- In large bowl, combine all cake ingredietns at low speed until moistened; beat 2 min. at high speed. Pour batter into greased and floured pans. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 to 35 min. or until top springs back when lightly touched in center. Cool 15 min.; removed from pans. Cool completely.
- To assemble cake, place one cake layer cut side up on serving plate; spread with 1 cup frosting. Place second cake layer cut side down on top of frosting. Use remaining frosting to cover sides and top of cake. Store covered.
